Reaction to Signs
I. Summary
A man who spent gloomy everyday life shows messages to a woman each other through office buildings' windows from one day. One day, the man was going to show the woman the message of "DO U WANT TO MEET?" but the woman dissapeared before he showed her the message. After a short days, the woman showed the man the message of "I GOT PROMOTED" from the upper room than the before one. The man showed the woman the message of "WE SHOULD CELEBRATE" and she showed him the message of "ABSOLUTELY". And the man showed the woman the message of "DO U WANT TO MEET?" and she showed him the message of "THOUGHT YOU'D NEVER ASK". After that, they met in person amd the love started.
憂鬱な会社員生活を送っていたある男性は、ある日から、隣のビルで働いている女性と、窓越しに紙に書いたメッセージを見せ合って交流が生まれた。ある日、男性は「あなたは私に会いたい？」というメッセージを女性に見せようとしたが、見せる前に、その女性は消えてしまった。しばらくたったある日、女性が前にいた仕事部屋よりも上層階の仕事部屋から男性に「私、昇進したの。」というメッセージを見せた。男性は、「僕たちはお祝いすべきだ。」というメッセージを女性に見せると、女性は、「もちろん」というメッセージを男性に見せた。そして、男性は、「あなたは私に会いたい？」というメッセージを女性に見せると、「あなたは尋ねないと思ってた。」というメッセージを女性は男性に見せた。その後、二人は直接会い、二人の恋が始まった。

Because the man acts the part that he spends gloomy everyday life but he meets a woman and he spends everyday life in a lively way, an audience can watch the way of movie with being excited.
男性は、映画の最初のあたりでは憂鬱な毎日を送っていたが、女性と出会って、だんだん生き生きと毎日を過ごすようになるという部分をうまく演じていて、観ている側が、展開をわくわくしながら観ることができる。
3.Message
This movie tells the audience that people can have generous lives by meeting some persons even if there are no fun things or no interesting things.
楽しいことも面白いこともない日常で、一人の人と出会うことによって、人生がこんなにも豊かになるということを、この映画は観客に伝えている。
Ⅲ.General opinion
This movie reminds me of the word that everybody chages if they love. I felt this movie is very interesting because this movie is not only romantic but also having the element of interesting. If I experience such love which starts from wonderful form, I thought the love will be a memory for all my life.
どんな人でも、恋をすると変わるという言葉を、この映画を観て思い出した。この映画はただロマンチックなだけではなく、面白い要素も兼ね揃えているので、観ていて楽しいなと感じた。こんな不思議な形で始まる恋も、もししてみたら一生の思い出になりそうだと思った。

Reaction to The Art of Love
Ⅰ. Summary
This story draws the beggining of a man and a woman's love. The man who spends casual everyday life was taking pictures in the park and he found a woman who was scketching. The next day, the man tried to talk to the woman but the woman 's cellphone was ringing and she left the place soon. At the time, she forgot her scketchbook on the bench. The man noticed about that and he aftered her but he couldn't. Since the day, the man had waited her with her scketchbook on the bench but the woman wouldn't appear . Although she appeared, the man left behind her scketchbook on the bench and he left the place. The woman gave a sigh of relief because she found her scketchbook, she had the scketchbook and she noticed that something was written on the scketchbook and she traced by pen, then the a letter of "HELLO STRANGER" appeared. She traced the next page by the same way and a letter of "U HAVE AN AMAZING TALENT" appeared. On the next page, a letter of "AND U SHOULD SMILE MORE" appeared. On the next page, a letter of "BECAUSE YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL" appeared. The woman who smiled and the man appeared and they sat on the bench then they started to talk each other.
この短い映画は、ある男女の恋の始まりを描いている。何気ない日常を送っていたある青年は、ある日公園で写真を撮っていると、写生をしているある女性を見かけた。次の日、青年は公園でその女性に話しかけようとしたが、女性の携帯電話が鳴り、女性は急いでその場から立ち去ってしまった。その時、その女性はスケッチブックをベンチに置き忘れてしまってきた。それに気づいた青年はその女性を追いかけたが、追いつけなかった。次の日以降、青年は女性のスケッチブックを持って公園のベンチで彼女を待っていたが、なかなか彼女は現れなかった。しかし、彼女が現れると青年はそのスケッチブックをベンチに置いて立ち去った。女性はスケッチブックが見つかり、ほっとして、スケッチブックを手に取ると、何かスケッチブックに記されていることに気づき、ペンで上から塗ると、「こんにちは、見知らぬ人」という文字が出てきた。次のページも同じようにペンで塗ると、「あなたは驚くべき才能がある。」という文が出てきた。次のページには、「そして、あなたはもっと笑うべきだ。」と、次のページには、「なぜなら、あなたは美しいからだ。」と出てきた。笑顔を見せた彼女のところへカメラを持った青年が登場し、二人はベンチに一緒に座り、話を始めるのであった。

This two people's performance is amazing. The irritation which the man hard to talk to the woman is conveyed to the audience and I think that the figure of the woman's smile is a smile-provoking scene.
この二人の演技はとても素晴らしい。青年はなかなか女性に話しかけられないというもどかしさも、観客には伝わってくるし、また、女性が最後に笑顔になる姿はとても微笑ましく感じる。

The message is conveyed to the audience that the woman saw the man without his notice and the man saw the woman without her notice on the movie.
この映画では、青年が気づいていないところで女性は青年のことを見ているし、女性の気づいていないところで青年は女性のことをちゃんと見ているんだというメッセージが伝わってきた。

I felt that how awesome if such love exist in real. If the awesome structural outline which a partner sees me without my notice exists in every couples all over the world, everybody can be happy I felt.
こんな恋が実際にあったらどんなに素晴らしいだろうと思うような映画であると感じた。自分の気づいていないところで、相手はちゃんと自分を見ていてくれるという素晴らしい構図が、世界のどのカップルにも存在したら、みんなもっと幸せになれると感じた。

Reaction to Rapunzel from the Grimm's Fairytales
Ⅰ. Summary
There are a husband and a wife in some place. One day, they were gifted a baby. The wife being pregnant was dying to eat Rapunzel of the garden. She asked her husband and he went to the garden to pick Rapunzel but he was detected by witch. But the witch understood the situation and she told him that he could pick Rapunzel as much as he liked but he had to give a baby after the baby had been born. The baby of girl was taken by the witch as soon as the wife gave birth to her and the baby was named Rapunzel and she was locked in the tower which had no entrance. One day, a prince discovered Rapunzel and he went up the tower by her long blond hair. Since the day, Rapunzel invited the prince without being known to the witch and they did sex frequently. And Rapunzel became pregnant. The witch was very angry by knowing the fact and she cut off Rapunzel's hair and Rapunzel was expelled to a wilderness by her. On the other side, the prince who had known nothing and had visited Rapunzel knew the all by bing cursed by the witch. He despaired and he threw the body from the tower and he went blind. After 7 years, the prince who wandered in the forest with blind cae across Rapunzel who was living with her twins. Rapunzel's nie tears falled to the prince's eyes and his eyesight recovered. He went back his country with Rapunzel and their hildren and they lived happily together.

I think the point which the prince and Rapunzel got happiness in their hands in the last even if there was the evil of the witch is the most impressive. Because the prince and Rapunzel caught the happines together, I felt their the strength of the intention.
たとえ魔女という弊害があっても、王子とラプンツェルは最終的に幸せを手につかむという点が、私は最も感動的だと考える。その幸せを二人で掴みとったので、二人の意思の強さすら感じた。

This story tells a tragedy that a family became rich because of their father but the father died after all.
この物語は、ある一家が父親のおかげで裕福にはなるものの、父親は結局死んでしまうという悲劇を物語っている。

A family appears on this story. The members are father, mother and children.
この物語には、一家が登場する。その構成員は、父親、母親、そして子供たちである。
2. Theme
I think that this story has a magnificent theme that what is the true happiness on human life. Although the family became rich because the father worked hard, the father couldn't spend time with his family very much and he died after all. I wonder the family was happy.
私は、この物語は、人生における本当の幸せとは何かという壮大なテーマを持っていると考える。
一家は父親が一生懸命働いたおかげで裕福になったが、父親と家族はあまり一緒にいられる時間を持てず、結局父親は死んでしまう。家族は本当に幸せだったのであろうか。

I think that this story's charm is that the story let readers think what is the real happiness in real meaning on our lives.
この物語の魅力は、読者に、人生で本当の意味での幸せというのは何か考えさせてくれることにあると私は考える。
4. General opinion
I also thought what is the true happiness on human life after reading this story. But I can't solve the problem because this question is very difficult for me. I think that human can't be happy without love. But human can't be happy only love. I understand that money is not all but I think that people can't eat delicious food and they have to give up thier dreams they have hardened hearts without money. Although I can't solve this question clearly, I think that the answer is under the control of people's values.
この物語を読んで、私自身も人生における本当の幸せとは何かを考えた。しかし、その答えは出せていない。なぜならこの問いは私にとってとても難しいからである。愛がなければ人はやはり幸福を感じることができない。しかし、愛だけでは人は幸せになることはできない。お金がすべてでないことは理解しているが、お金がないことで、満足においしい食べ物を食べることが出来なかったり、夢をあきらめなければいけなかったりと、心がすさむということも言える。はっきりと答えが出ない問いではあるが、きっとその答えは、人々のそれぞれの価値観に左右されるのだろうと私は考える。

A philosophy professor poured rocks into a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and students agreed the jar was full. Next he poured pebbles into the jar and the students agreed the jar was full. Finally, he poured sand into the jar and the students agreed the jar was full. He compares the rocks to your family, your partner, your health and your children, he compares the pebbles to your job, your house and your car and he compares the sand to everything else,the small stuff. This story points out that you will never have room for the things that are important to you if you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, and you should pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
ある哲学者の教授が授業で、とても大きなマヨネーズの瓶に岩石、小石、砂の順に入れ、それぞれの時にその瓶がいっぱいになっているか学生に尋ね、学生が、すべての時にそれに対して同意している。岩石は家族やパートナー、健康、子供など、重要なものを例えている。小石は、仕事や家や車などを例えている。砂はそのほかの取るに足らないことを例えている。この物語では、例えばあなたがもし取るに足らないような小さなことに時間とエネルギーを費やしていると、重要なことをのスペースがなくなってしまうから、あなたの幸福に重要な事々に注意を払うように指摘している。

Reaction to To be or not to be
Ⅰ.Summary
I chose the poem of To be or not to be by Shakespeare. This poem expresses the agony of human who can't die and stays this world because he doesn't know the postmortem world.
私は、シェイクスピアの、生きるか死ぬかそれが問題だという詩を選んだ。この詩は、死後の世界がどのようなものかわからないがゆえに、死ねずにこの世にとどまっているという、人間の苦悩を表現している。

This poem has the effect which the writer gives very strong impression to readers. This poem tells writer's anger also.
この詩は、とても力強く強烈な印象を読者に与える効果を持っている。この詩からは、作者の怒りさえも伝わってくる。
2.Symbolism
This poem symbolizes human's life agony.
この詩で象徴しているのは、人間の人生の苦しさについてである。
3.Connotation
This poem includes the meaning that human is afraid of the death because human doesn't know the postmortem world.

I deeply sympathize this poem which human continues to exist by bearing this world's penance because human doesn't know the posmortem world. But I think human can endure the penance if he can think that the penance which he does in this world is for the future life, and I think so.
私は、多くの人間が、死んだ後どうなるかわからないからこの世の苦行に耐えながら生きながらえているというこの詩に深く共感している。しかし、きっと今この世で行っている苦行も来世の為と考えることができれば、人間はその苦行に耐えられると思うし、私は、そのように考えている。

Reaction to A Red, Red Rose by Robert Burns
Ⅰ.Summary
This is the poem which a man compares a love one with beautiful rose. This poem expresses that his mind of loving one is never changed no matter what happened.
この詩は、ある男性が、愛してやまない女性のことを、美しい薔薇に例えて読んだ詩である。例えどんなことがあったとしても、女性に対する愛する気持ちには決して変わりがないという気持ちを強く表している。

1.Imagery
This poem is expressed by polite words and image. This poem is read in sweet tone. A wall color is painted in cream and there is an effect of calming readers' mind.
この詩は、一つ一つの言葉を丁寧に画像で流しています。甘い口調で詩が読まれています。壁色が淡いクリーム色で施されており、見る人の心を落ち着ける効果があるように思われます。
2.Connotation
This poem include a meaning that the man have to part with a woman who he loves a lot for a while.
愛しくてしょうがない人と、しばしのお別れをしなければならないという意味をこの詩は含んでいる。
3.Personification
The man compares the beautiful love one with beautiful rose. The seas gang dry, the rocks melt wi' the sun and the sands o'life shall run are the expressions that compares the hardship in poeple's life.
美しい愛している人を、美しい薔薇に例えている。海が干上がったり、岩が熱に溶けたり、命の砂が飛び散るというのは、人生の様々な困難を例えた表現である。
4.General opinion
I read this poem and I felt that he has strong determination and passion of loving woman a lot no matter what happened and I was impressed.
この詩を読んで、たとえどんなことがあっても愛しい人を深く愛するという決意と熱情がひしひしと伝わってきて、感動した。
